OK, OK. The 's' on Clubs is a little overstated. Still, we do have one fan club. Err... Actually, we only have one fan. Since we have only one, we need to treat him right, so this page is in thanks to our Number 1 (of 1) Fan. Thanks, Mr. Kientop!

Filking Wiener Fan Club #000000000000001 is based in Pulaski, Wisconsin (Polka capitol of the world). Its founding (and so far only) member is Mr. Chuck Kientop, retired USDA meat inspector. This man will polka to anything. In spite of the fact that we’ve never actually filked a polka, we have still seen him doing the Beer Barrel Polka to Orphan’s Lament.

He’s known around the Pulaski area for his creative spicing practices (Don’t ask to try his parika-pepper lutefisk) We’ve learned over the years to never let Mr. Kientop near a welding torch. His solution to any problem is an arc welder. We mean any problem: cracked gas tanks, flat tires, acne, colds, etc... Mr. Kientop’s favorite holiday is the Fourth of July because of the exploding munitions. Perhaps this explains why he likes our songs

When the Filking Wieners became a band, we sort of hoped for screaming hordes of nubile female fans throwing themselves at our feet. Instead we got Mr. Kientop. Still, he’s loyal and appreciative of our work. He has the first copy of every CD we’ve ever made! He even insists on playing it to everyone he meets, though the reception is not always what he hoped for...

Thank you Mr. Kientop! Without you, the Filking Wieners would have long ago faded into the oblivion we deserve.
